Uncle Stock

Stock Screener — Freemium

Global fundamental stock screener with backtests, valuation models and a free MCP server for AI agents.

MCP server that lets AI agents query a global screener

Overview

Uncle Stock is a fundamental screener built by one Belgian developer and run since 2011. It covers more than 100,000 stocks worldwide with financial metrics, scores, price targets, valuation models and screen backtests. The buyer is a patient, numbers-first investor who wants global coverage without a terminal bill.

The AI angle is plumbing, and that is a compliment. Uncle Stock runs an MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT or another agent can run stock searches against its database. Every account gets five MCP searches a day at no charge, and Gold subscribers get a far larger daily allowance. The web interface can also hand a stock to an AI chat ready to paste. The models doing the talking are yours. The data is theirs.

The catch: the free tier is thin, and the full screener starts at Bronze, about $130 a year. Backtests need Silver or Gold, and the API is capped at 300 calls a month on Gold. Prices are delayed and there is no broker link or mobile app. Day traders should skip it. Value and quality investors who screen globally will get their money's worth.
