Overview

Tradier is a US brokerage built around its API, used by developers and by third-party trading platforms that route orders through it. It is for options traders and builders who want an AI assistant talking straight to a real account.

The hosted Tradier MCP server, launched December 2025, connects ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and Gemini CLI with a personal access token and nothing to install. It covers quotes, options chains with Greeks, positions, P&L and the full order library, including multi-leg spreads and OCO or OTOCO brackets, with paper trading endpoints for testing. Plans run Lite at $0, Pro at $10 a month and Pro Plus at $35 a month; equity options cost $0.35 per contract on Lite and $0 on Pro.

The catch: an AI that can place multi-leg orders can also place the wrong one, and Tradier leaves the guardrails to you. Its own client experience scores 2.0 on Trustpilot from a small sample. Skip it if you want a polished retail app more than an API.
