Scalar Field
AI Trading Bot — Paid
Agentic trading desk: turn an idea into research, a backtest and a live trading agent connected to your broker.
Agents that research with AI, then trade through rules-based execution
Overview
Scalar Field is an agentic trading desk from a Y Combinator Spring 2025 company. You describe an investment idea, and its agents research it, backtest it in Python and turn it into a strategy that can run live through your broker. It is aimed at self-directed traders and small quant teams who want thesis, backtest and execution in one place. It is known for keeping the AI out of the trade path: the language model does the research, then a rules-based engine watches the market and fires orders in about 300 ms.
Agents can trade US stocks and ETFs through Robinhood, stocks and options through Public.com and Alpaca, plus Polymarket and Jupiter DEX, with Hyperliquid listed as coming. Paper trading runs through Alpaca and Polymarket, so you can test an agent before real money touches it. The data menu is deep: options history back to 2007, insider and congress trades, institutional holdings, earnings, FRED economic series and a live news wire. The founders are named: Amandeep Singh, a former trader at Tower Research and Goldman Sachs, and Ramakant Yadav, who led engineering teams at Microsoft.
The catch: the public record is rough. Trustpilot shows 3 reviews averaging 3.4, and 2 of them are one star, including a user who says they lost a lot of money on a janky platform. One of those one-star reviews dates from 2024, before the product, and is about job assessments. Plan prices are not shown on the pricing page, and Polymarket and Jupiter trades carry a 1% fee below the top plan. Skip it if you are not ready to watch an automated agent closely with real money.

Is Scalar Field Legit? FAQ
Is Scalar Field legit?
Scalar Field is a working product, but it is new. It has fewer than 10 reviews on Trustpilot, G2, the App Store and Product Hunt, so there is no public track record yet. What exists so far: 3 reviews on Trustpilot, averaging 3.4 out of 5. We list it because it has a real AI feature, not because it paid us. The biggest drawback we found: 2 of 3 Trustpilot reviews are one star.
