Saxo
Broker — Free
Danish bank and multi-asset broker whose new SaxoInvestor platform has an AI Assistant that reads your portfolio.
Portfolio-aware AI Assistant that drafts trade tickets but never auto-trades
Overview
Saxo is a licensed Danish bank and broker giving European and international investors access to global stocks, ETFs, bonds, options and futures. It suits investors who want one account across many exchanges and a research assistant that knows their holdings.
The AI Assistant in the new SaxoInvestor platform answers questions about your portfolio, transactions, costs and dividends, briefs you on an instrument, searches for instruments by criteria, manages price alerts and watchlists, and opens a pre-filled trade ticket. It uses your account data, Saxo market data and Help Centre content, and Saxo says chats are not used to train models. Saxo also runs an OpenAPI for developers.
The catch: the assistant only lives in the new SaxoInvestor, it will not place the trade for you, and there is no MCP. Saxo also offers CFDs, and its UK site says 60% of retail CFD accounts lose money. Skip it if you want an AI that executes on your behalf.
Pros
- AI Assistant reads holdings, costs and dividends
- Opens pre-filled trade tickets for review
- One account across many global exchanges
Cons
- Assistant only in the new SaxoInvestor
- No MCP or Claude/ChatGPT connector
