Finance super-app with stock trading and AIR, an in-app AI assistant that checks your investments in plain English.
AIR: in-app AI assistant that reports on your investments and prices
Overview
Revolut is a UK-founded finance app that bundles banking, cards and stock and ETF trading through Revolut Trading Ltd, regulated by the FCA. It suits people who already bank with Revolut and want light investing plus an assistant in the same app.
AIR, short for AI by Revolut, launched to UK customers on April 9, 2026. You can ask it for a stock price or how your investments are doing, alongside card, subscription and spending tasks. Revolut says AIR only sees data you can already see and runs on a zero-data-retention policy with its AI partners. Trades beyond your monthly allowance cost 0.25% of the order on Standard, Plus, Premium and Metal plans, or 0.12% on Ultra.
The catch: AIR is a money assistant first and an investing tool second, with no screening or deep analysis. Revolut's MCP connector works only with Revolut X, its crypto exchange, not the stock account. Skip it if you want serious research or an AI that trades stocks.
Pros
- AIR answers investment questions in-app
- Stocks, ETFs and banking in one app
- Zero-data-retention policy with AI partners
Cons
- AIR is light on investing depth
- MCP covers crypto exchange only
