Tracks Congress, insider and whale stock disclosures with AI research, alerts, a REST API and MCP.

Congress and insider trade data with an MCP server

Overview

ProBors is a disclosure research workspace. It tracks stock trades reported by members of Congress under the STOCK Act, SEC Form 4 insider activity and large whale transactions, and puts them next to market context. It is for investors who use public filings as an idea source and want them in one place. It is known for pairing that data with an MCP server, so tools like Claude and Cursor can query it.

You get dashboards of filings as they post, politician portfolios, signal scores, watchlists and alerts. A Portfolios tab lets you combine politician holdings, set weights and simulate the mix against SPY. The AI research feature writes briefs on filings and answers questions, metered by monthly AI credits. A REST API and the MCP server cover automation and agents. There is an iOS app.

The catch: disclosures are late by design. Congressional filings can trail the trade by weeks, so this is research, not a live copy-trading feed. The site names no founder or company. Prices load by script, and the figures we saw were $30 a month at a launch rate against a regular $75, or $180 a year, with a 14-day refund window and no stated free trial. Confirm at checkout. Skip it if you want real-time signals.

Is ProBors Legit? FAQ

Is ProBors legit?

ProBors is a working product, but it is new. It has fewer than 10 reviews on Trustpilot, G2, the App Store and Product Hunt, so there is no public track record yet. What exists so far: 2 reviews on Trustpilot, averaging 3.7 out of 5. We list it because it has a real AI feature, not because it paid us. The biggest drawback we found: No founder or company named on site.

How much does ProBors cost?

ProBors is listed at $30/mo. There is no free plan. Prices change, so confirm on the official site before you pay.

Does ProBors have a free trial?

No free trial is listed for ProBors. Read the refund policy before you subscribe.

Does ProBors have an API or MCP server?

Yes. ProBors offers an API and an MCP server, so you can connect it to your own code, a trading bot, or an AI assistant like Claude or ChatGPT.
