MoatRadar
Stock Screener — Freemium
Pick an investing legend and GPT-4o scans 40,000+ assets for names that fit that playbook.
Screen stocks through a chosen investor's philosophy
Overview
MoatRadar is a screener with a twist. Instead of setting filters, you pick an investor philosophy, Buffett, Graham, Lynch, Greenblatt and 40 or so others, and the tool hunts for stocks that match. It is for idea-hungry value investors who have read the books and are tired of running the screens by hand.
Under the hood it uses GPT-4o. The site says it scans more than 40,000 assets on 70-plus exchanges. One scan returns up to 20 ranked candidates, each with a moat score, a written moat analysis and key financial metrics. You can also set your own filters on P/E, moat score and growth, or pick frameworks like Magic Formula, Piotroski F-Score or insider buying. There are separate modes for startups and crypto. Market data comes from Financial Modeling Prep.
The catch: a language model is deciding what Buffett would buy. That is a starting list, not research. None of the named investors are involved, which the site states. Pricing is by credit, with no subscription. Two scans are free, then packs start at 5 euros for 6 scans. Skip it if you want live data or repeatable quant screens.
Pros
- No subscription, credits never expire
- Two free scans without an account
- Covers 70-plus global exchanges
Cons
- Moat scores come from a language model
- No link to the investors it names
Is MoatRadar Legit? FAQ

MoatRadar is a working product, but it is new. It has fewer than 10 reviews on Trustpilot, G2, the App Store and Product Hunt, so there is no public track record yet. We list it because it has a real AI feature, not because it paid us. The biggest drawback we found: Moat scores come from a language model.
