LuxAlgo
Multi-Tool Platform — Freemium
Charting platform with 800+ indicators, orderflow, backtesting, an AI coding agent called Quant and a free MCP server.
Quant: describe a strategy in English and it codes and backtests it
Overview
LuxAlgo started as an indicator shop on TradingView and is now its own charting platform, Vela. It bundles 800+ indicators, orderflow footprints, backtesting, alerts and an AI coding agent called Quant. It suits active technical traders across stocks, ETFs, futures, crypto and forex who want indicators and strategy building in one place.
Quant takes a plain English request, writes the indicator or strategy, backtests it on years of history and tunes it on your chart. You pick from several outside models, and each plan comes with monthly credits. Charts are free. Essential is $24.99 a month with 2,000 Quant credits and live CME futures data included. Premium is $39.99, Ultimate $59.99 and AI Ultra $119.99, with more credits, alerts and orderflow history, plus annual discounts. A free MCP server at mcp.luxalgo.com lets Claude search its library, read your journal and run prop firm simulations.
The catch: indicators are not an edge on their own, and a coding agent that tunes a strategy to past data makes overfitting easy. The plan ladder and credit system take some reading. Skip it if you are a long term investor who does not use technical signals.
Pros
- Free charts with 800+ indicator library
- Quant agent builds and backtests strategies
- Free MCP server with 42 hosted tools
Cons
- AI tuning makes overfitting easy
