LangAlpha
Research & Analysis — Freemium
Open-source AI research agent that reads filings, runs code and ships memos, models and decks on stocks.
Parallel agents that write and run code on live data
Overview
LangAlpha is an AI research platform from Ginlix AI that pitches itself as a coding agent for finance. It is for investors and analysts who want finished work product, not chat replies. A hosted version runs at langalpha.ai and the core agent is open source under Apache 2.0.
You hand it a question. A team of agents splits the job, pulls prices, fundamentals, options chains, macro data and full SEC filings, then writes and runs code in a sandbox. The output is a memo, a spreadsheet model, a deck or a dashboard, with citations back to the source. Workspaces keep your notes and files, so the next task starts with context. Scheduled runs deliver a morning brief or a pre-earnings report. It covers US, China A-share and Hong Kong stocks.
The catch: it is in public beta, the API is listed as upcoming and it never places trades. Free gives 1,000 credits a month. Paid plans are $20, $40 and $100 a month. Day traders who need fast signals should skip it.
Pros
- Outputs memos, models and decks
- Reads full SEC filings with citations
- Open-source core you can self-host
Cons
- Public beta with features still pending
- Credit limits cap heavy research
