Overview

DiscountingCashFlows is a valuation workbench for investors who want to know what a business is worth before they look at the chart. It is built for the value crowd and is a regular name in r/ValueInvesting tool lists. It is known for one thing: pick a ticker, pick a model, get a fair value you can argue with.

The library covers discounted cash flow, dividend discount, excess return, exit multiple and Peter Lynch models, plus risk checks like WACC, ROIC and margin analysis. Every assumption is editable. A guided Model Builder creates projections without code, and a Python editor handles the complicated cases. A watchlist tracks your intrinsic value numbers and emails price alerts. The AI piece is a feature called AI Insights and Editor, metered by messages on every plan. Data covers up to 30 years of statements and transcripts.

The catch: a model is only as good as the growth rate you type in, and the site will not stop you from typing a silly one. Prices come from a third party feed and are not meant for trading. The free plan caps you at three watchlist symbols and five AI messages a month. Paid plans run $9 and $19 a month, with no trial. Short-term traders will find nothing here.
