Mezzi
Portfolio Manager — Freemium
SEC-registered AI wealth adviser that links all your accounts and flags tax, risk and allocation moves.
AI advice across every linked account for a flat fee
Overview
Mezzi is an AI financial adviser in an app. You connect your brokerage, retirement and bank accounts, and it gives advice across the whole picture for a flat fee, not a cut of your assets. The company is an SEC-registered investment adviser, led by co-founders Manish Jain and Hersh Reddy. It is for self-directed investors with money spread across several accounts.
The AI chat answers questions about your actual holdings: am I too heavy in tech, what can I harvest for tax losses, can I retire at 60. An X-ray tool shows true exposure across funds. The app tracks capital gains, wash-sale windows, allocation drift and concentration. Accounts sync through aggregators like Plaid and Finicity. Paid tiers add Delegations, phone and video support and coaching check-ins.
The catch: it advises, it does not trade for you, and it is only as good as the data your institutions send. The free plan gives limited AI insights and the X-ray. Advisory is $33.25 a month and Concierge is $83.25, both billed annually. It will not find you a stock to buy. Stock pickers should skip it. Households paying 1% to an adviser should run the math.
Pros
- Flat fee, not a percentage of assets
- SEC-registered investment adviser
- Free plan includes the X-ray risk tool
Cons
- Paid plans are priced on annual billing
- Does not place trades for you
