How to use the FullStack Alpha screener recipes

A stock screener is only as good as the filters you give it. These six recipes are starting filter sets for common strategies, written so you can copy them into almost any screener in under a minute.

The six recipes

• Momentum: price above the 50-day SMA, 50-day above the 200-day, RSI(14) between 50 and 70, relative volume above 1.5
• Swing Breakout: price within 3% of the 20-day high, RSI(14) between 55 and 70, volume above its 20-day average
• Oversold Bounce: RSI(14) below 30 while price holds above the 200-day SMA
• Value: P/E below 15, price-to-book below 1.5, debt-to-equity below 1, positive free cash flow
• Dividend Growth: yield between 2% and 5%, payout ratio below 60%, positive 5-year dividend growth
• Gap & Go: pre-market gap above 4%, relative volume above 3, float below 50M shares, price between $2 and $20

How to run one

Pick the strategy that matches how long you hold. Copy the criteria, paste them into your screener, and run it after the close so the list is ready before the next session. Each recipe also carries liquidity and market cap floors so the results are tradeable, not a list of illiquid penny stocks.

A screener finds candidates, not trades

Every name on the list still needs a chart check, a planned entry, a stop and a size. A screen that returns 40 stocks is not 40 trades. Narrow it to the three or four cleanest setups, then size each one with the FullStack Alpha swing trade planner.

Adjust for the market you are in

These thresholds are starting points. In a strong trending market, tighten the RSI ranges. In quiet, low-volume weeks, lower the relative volume minimum or the list comes back empty. Change one filter at a time so you know which change made the difference.
